This sustainable restaurant and brewery uses locally produced, organic ingredients and is also home to a number of sustainable gadgets like an energy-saving, variable-speed hood control system in the kitchen and an innovative energy management system that cuts costs and energy usage. Standing Stone composts more than 3,000 gallons of vegetable waste each year. To help green its staff, the company also purchased a handful of new hybrid bikes for its employees to zip through their daily commutes.
