Tinhorn Creek's winery became the first Canadian winery to complete the Climate Smart program and offset their carbon footprint, and they were effectively declared the first Canadian winery to be carbon neutral. Climate Smart, launched in 2007, teaches business leaders to measure, reduce and offset their carbon footprint.
