U.N. World Water Day offers a global reminder of how critical freshwater is for life, as well as how limited our supplies are. The holiday was started 19 years ago as a way to help people waste less water, mainly focusing on direct, straightforward actions like taking shorter showers or washing fewer clothes. But for the 2012 edition, World Water Day is tackling a less obvious problem: The use of water to grow food, whether it's beef, beans or barley. In this video, water experts from WWF, SABMiller, GIZ, Coca-Cola, and MillerCoors discuss the importance of World Water Day, and of conserving water itself.
