Sure, you can put out a tray of raw vegetables at your New Year’s Eve party and fulfill your “I provided a healthy choice for my guests” requirement. But if you’d like to add some other healthy finger foods, ones your guests might not even think of as healthy, I found five recipes for you to add to your table.

White Bean-Horseradish Spread - Great northern beans, prepared horseradish and olive oil are the main ingredients in this delicious dip.

Spinach and Brie Topped Artichoke Hearts – Hot spinach and artichoke dip is so good but so laden with fat and calories. These artichoke hearts from Eating Well are stuffed with seasoned spinach and topped with melted Brie, cutting the fat and calories dramatically.

Stuffed Mushrooms – These mushrooms from Cooking Light stuffed with onion, green bell pepper, fat-free cottage cheese and a few other ingredients are only about 26 calories each.

Goat cheese, Cranberry and Walnut Canapés – This make-ahead recipe from Whole Living is yummy and nutritious.

Squash Crostini – Vegan Coach brings us this creamy vegetable dip that uses no cheese, mayo, or sour cream to make it creamy.
