2010 Next Great Young Chef Contest
Kiwi Magazine is looking for kids who thrive in the kitchen.

photo: qwrrty/Flickr If you’ve got a budding young chef like I do, this contest may interest you. Kiwi Magazine is holding the 2010 Next Great Young Chef Contest. Four through seventeen year olds can enter the contest by creating an original recipe that uses their sponsors’ products.
Parents can submit a video of their young chef making the recipe or a photo of their child with the finished recipe accompanied by the recipe. Grand Prize is $2,500 and a feature in Kiwi Magazine. First and Second prizes receive cash awards and a feature in the magazine. An honorable mention gets a $250 cash prize.
Kiwi’s sponsors are Annie Chun’s, Wholesome Sweeteners, Nielsen-Massey Vanillas, and Endangered Species. Recipes can use one or more products from the sponsors.
