Did you ever wonder what the American ethnic food section of a grocery store would look like in another country? What foods represent our diets to other cultures? Simone Haruko Smith
, is a trend spotter. While in Germany, she took this video of the American ethnic section at a large German grocery store. I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry at this very interesting snapshot of our culture.
Considering the fact that a section like this couldn’t carry fresh food from the U.S., what do you think could be on these shelves to better represent the food here in America?
