Big Bird helps Michelle Obama celebrate Let's Move anniversary
The first lady’s healthy eating, anti-obesity initiative turns 3, and Big Bird helps her celebrate the initiative's accomplishments.

Michelle Obama kicks off her Let’s Move third anniversary tour next week, and she started the celebration a little early with a visit from Big Bird from "Sesame Street." They teamed up to promote healthy eating and exercise in a couple of videos filmed at the White House.
 

 

 
On the Let’s Move blog, there is an impressive list of Let’s Move’s milestones and collaborations. The long list includes the MyPlate food icon that replaced the outdated food pyramid, the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act and the Kid’s State Dinner.
 
Mrs. Obama is in New York City today to promote Let’s Move, and she’ll have her first sit-down tonight on the "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" show.
