Can you be grossed out into giving up soda?
New York City’s anti-soda ad is really disgusting.

Soda can make you fat. That’s the message that the NYC health department wants to get across. To get that message out, they’ve created this really gross video.

There are over 150 comments on the YouTube page for the video already. Some people see the video as a useless scare tactic that won’t work. Others see it as propaganda by those who would like to see the soda companies go out of business. Still, others see it as a good educational tool.

What do you think?

Will forward to my mom and step dad (both heavy soda drinkers) we'll see what happens :) my feeling is the rebuttal maybe along the lines of "this is just another political agenda" :)

I saw this last night while enjoying an on-the-go meal of a non-diet soda and a piece of pizza. I was able to finish the drink but my pizza was left half uneaten.

YUCK!

(and, even worse, my soda-drinking s-in-l will just say that's why she drinks diet coke only)
