Close encounters of the school lunch kind
Is it going to take interstellar interference to change school lunches or is there something we can do about it ourselves?

Onetray.org has put out short, to the point video about the changes that need to be made to school lunches. I don’t know if the kids in the video get the reference to the mashed potato mountain, but most of us will.
If you go to Onetray.org, you can sign a petition to ask Congress to support Farm to School programs and investment in child nutrition with the revised Child Nutrition Act.
What is Farm to School?
Farm to School enables every child to have access to nutritious food while simultaneously benefiting communities and local farmers. In addition to supplying nourishing, locally grown and produced food in schools, Farm to School programs offer nutrition and agriculture education through taste tests, school gardens, composting programs, and farm tours.
