Meet Nathan. He is a math teacher, illustrator, "professional dad" (I like that), and pancake-maker extraordinaire. His pancakes are unbelievably detailed and beautiful, and they leave ordinary pancakes in the dust. Plus, his pancake sets are very educational. And let's admit it, we all learn things better with a full tummy.

Nathan's kids get to learn while they eat in a unique way. Nathan believes that it's fun to learn while you eat breakfast, and wants to encourage other parents to "try something new — a lot of kids don't see enough of that."

I don't know about you, but I never saw pancakes like this before!

Take these detailed dinosaur pancakes:

Or this beautiful shark set.

One of my favorite pancake sets was this one:

Pancakes shaped like butterflies

And look at this collection of cephalopod pancakes!

Nathan also makes incredibly accurate pancakes depicting the heads of famous people. They are also amazing. Here is just one example of David Hilbert, one of the most influential mathematicians of all time (and frequently pictured wearing a hat.)

You might wonder whether Nathan and his family eat these beautiful works of art as they seem too pretty to eat! But they do. In fact, Nathan says that they tend to "talk" while being drenched in syrup and butter.

I have to say, I wouldn't mind eating one myself.
