March 23 is Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day 2010. From noon to 8 p.m., participating Ben & Jerry’s shops will be serving up free cones as a thank you to their loyal customers.
Ben & Jerry’s has used non-rBGH milk in their ice cream for some time now. Earlier this year, the company announced
its commitment to using as many of their ingredients sourced from fair trade producers as possible. By the end of 2013, all Ben & Jerry’s flavors in all of the countries that sell them will be converted to fair trade ingredients.
To find a participating scoop shop near you, head over to their Scoop Shop Locator
, put in your ZIP code, and click on find shops that “participate in Free Cone Day.”
