I found this video from Whole Gourmet Natural Cooking that is really well-done. Roasting a turkey can be a bit daunting. I had my Mom help me the first time I did it, and she still comes to my house every year and helps me prepare for Thanksgiving. Technically, I've never done it by myself. 

 

What I liked about this video is that it assumes the viewer needs to know everything, from how to calculate the roasting time to what type of pan to use to how to make the pan gravy. 

 

An organic, free-range turkey is used in this video, but the method shown here would work with any turkey. If this is your first time making a turkey — or like me, your 12th — this video is worth a watch.
