Walter Breuning turned 114 years old yesterday. According to Wikipedia, he’s the fourth-oldest verified living person in the world and the world’s oldest living male. It’s absolutely amazing to realize that since he was born in 1896, he has lived in three separate centuries. What’s even more amazing is how sharp this wise man is at 114.
Integral Senior Living got Mr. Bruening to agree to a video interview, and he answered questions like “What’s the key to living to 114?” and “What advice do you have for today’s youth?" from people all over the world. Watch ... it will make your day.
Happy Birthday, Walter!

I only hope to be as spry as you are when I'm 80.....your attitude is inspirational and I wish you many, many more years to enjoy life and to share your incredible experiences and wisdom. Happy Birthday, Walter.
Did you know that Mr. Breuning was still driving his own automobile at 108?? Well, the reason he stopped driving 6 years ago was because he was getting too "fed up" by SLOW drivers!!! I mean, to me, this is just Phenomenal; absolutely mind boggling. His health had nothing to do with it! Cheers; happy 114th Walter. Good luck in catching Shegichayo Izumi and Jeanne Calmant for the records!
Thank you Walter for brightening my day. It gives me goose bumps to hear you speak about your experiences and all that you've been through, yet you still manage to keep a positive outlook. Happy birthday!
This blows my mind. He was 33 years old when the depression started, older than I am now. Thanks for sharing your stories!
I could listen to your stories all day! Thank you for sharing some of your past, wish we could hear more. You look and sound fantastic! Happy Birthday and thanks for the great advice.
