If you’re reading my blog, chances are you already do eat fresh and seasonal when you can. You probably buy from your local farmers market, too. If you’re doing those things, Frigidaire’s Make Time for Change campaign is one you might want to look into.

Actress Jennifer Garner, who is often photographed at farmers markets, is the spokesperson for this click-for-donations campaign. Here’s how it works: You click over to Make Time for Change and commit to eating fresh this summer. If you do that, Frigidaire will donate $1 to Save the Children. After you commit, you can also register to win a Frigidaire refrigerator.

If you’d like to help Frigidaire donate even more money to Save the Children, each time you’re at the farmers market, check in through the Gowalla app.

Save the Children is an organization that helps at-risk children with early childhood education, literacy, physical activity and nutrition programs. The organization also works with children in emergency situations, like the recent flooding and tornadoes that have devastated some regions.

Frigidaire’s Make Time for Change campaign runs through Sept. 20, 2011. The company is committed to donating at least $35,000 to Save the Children.
