Join MNN and Earth911 for a Greener Holiday
Earth911 is hosting a week-long series of Google+ Hangouts to encourage everyone to make eco-friendly choices during the holiday season. You're invited to watch and learn.

Earth911 is hosting a holiday hangout series this week to help you Have a Greener Holiday. From Tuesday through Friday, they’ll be going live on Google+ at 1:30 p.m. EST with ideas each day on how to be greener when you do any of these topical tasks: decorate, give, dine and gather.
I’ll be joining them — along with plenty of other experts on going green — on Wednesday for the "Give" hangout, on Thursday for the "Dine" hangout and on Friday for the "Gather" hangout.
Earth911 reports that every holiday season, we generate more than 1 million extra tons of waste! These hangouts will empower all of us, so we can “fight back with beautiful, creative and thoughtful ideas that are easy to implement and fun to try.”
You can watch these hangouts live. I’ll also be posting links to the videos after they’re up on YouTube for you if you’re unable to join us live.
