Mark Bittman shares his recipe for granola bars in this video. I've shared with you my recipe for my kids' favorite peanut butter granola bars, but I love the idea of using almond butter. Sounds yummy. If you don't have apricots, raisins or any other dried fruit would work (or even chocolate chips). In the video he says to use brown Rice Krispies, but the recipe says to use crispy brown rice cereal. When I hear brown Rice Krispies, I think the chocolate variety of the Kellogg's cereal, but what the recipe is actually calling for is cereal made from brown rice like Erewhon's Crispy Brown Rice cereal.
