Maximum caffeine, minimal calories
A chart helps you get the most buzz for the least amount of bulge.

Do you need your morning buzz? I do. Caffeine is a morning ritual for many of us. For some people it’s an all-day ritual. For those of us who are looking to get maximum caffeine input with minimal caloric input, Information is Beautiful
has come up with The Buzz vs The Bulge chart
(click to see full-sized chart) that shows the average number of calories in items that contain caffeine. The chart also contains some information about how long it would take to burn off those calories.
It would take over a half hour of running to burn off one small mocha frappucino with whip. If all you want to do is get a little caffeine pick-me-up, a large brewed black coffee will do the trick and it has almost no calories.
I’m not suggesting that drinking black coffee non-stop all day is good for you just because it has no calories. Caffeine, unfortunately, does have its downside, so it still needs to be consumed in moderation. However, most of us could use fewer calories, so if you're going to drink something just for the caffeine, it’s smarter to drink the lower calorie beverage, right?
