Two years ago, Change.org hosted a petition that asked Kraft to voluntarily get rid of the artificial food dyes in all its foods. Despite some good social media attention, the petition didn’t get far. Now, there’s a new petition on Change.org asking Kraft to remove the artificial food dye specifically from the kid favorite Macaroni & Cheese, and this petition seems to be doing better.
In this video, Lisa Leake from 100 Days of Real Food and Vani Hari from Food Babe explain the difference in the ingredients between the U.K. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese the U.S. version and do a taste test to see if they could tell the difference.
I’ve signed the petition. It currently has more than 15,500 signatures and needs about 9,500 more to be delivered to Kraft. The petition that circulated two years ago didn’t get delivered because not enough people signed. Let’s make sure this one gets delivered. If we don’t speak up, food companies will never make changes.

Don't buy this brand then. There are brands out there that are somewhat comparable in price and much better tasting too. Show them with your money and not a petition. Buy Annies or something else without artificial colors.
Only 1623 more signatures needed after I signed.
What a good idea. I have seen a up-swell recently of parents concerned about food dyes. I haven't seen that since I was in fourth grade and there were a number of parents against red food dye.
I was very vigilant about food dyes even before I started feeding my kids much more naturally because I saw the difference in my youngest's behavior and mood after having foods that had been dyed. It is a concern with today's parents, but most of us tend to just avoid it instead of voicing our concerns to the food companies. It's time to start making a fuss.
