Rap video mocks Whole Foods shoppers

The Prius-driving, organic chicken-buying crowd give us something to snicker about in the Whole Foods Parking Lot.

Just in case you missed this yesterday (it seemed to suddenly be everywhere), you’ll want to get a look at this video from Frog and Small Films. It mocks the stereotypical Whole Foods shopper with lyrics like the following.
Then I take it to the cheese counter, Humboldt Fog?
We just ran out sir! Really Dog?
Take it easy man, I try to calm myself...
I've been on edge ever since they took Kombucha off the shelf...

The video is funny because it rings kind of true, at least for me. The few times I’ve gone into Whole Foods, I’ve been turned off by many of the people who shop there. The workers always seem extremely patient with many of the shoppers who are extremely impatient and entitled. So when I’m near a Whole Foods, I drive right past it in my Prius.

If you can handle fun being poked at the sustainable set’s expense, you also need to check out “Portlandia.” Back in December, I told you about IFC’s comedy show that makes fun of Portland, Ore., quite possibly the most sustainable-minded city in America. It’s painfully funny when things that I’ve done in real life get poked at on the show. It’s always good to laugh at yourself, right?

I often see some great cars in the local Whole Foods parking lot.

From the parking lot to the customers, but alas they carry the kombucha I love. I head there for that and for whatever really good deals they are running. But, it is usually a once or twice a year visit. We have been able to get some free or nearly free items there with coupons. Last weekend they had a rotisserie chicken on sale for 4.99 (much better than the usual 7.99 here at Whole Foods) and we had a coupon for a free large side. We were able to get a case of the kombucha--already on sale.... More

Most of the coupon mom see coupons in our newspapers but it can be difficult to find coupons for exact product, for instance I always use printable coupons or "Printapon" search online to find your coupons
