If you’ve offered to bring something sweet to a Halloween party, what are you going to bring? Brownies? Cupcakes? Candy? Everyone will be bringing those. But, I bet no one will be bringing pumpkin seed brittle.

Leave it to Alton Brown, or his staff perhaps, to come up with a sweet, salty and spicy brittle that uses oh-so-seasonal pumpkin seeds. I always learn something when I watch Alton, and I love his explanation in this video about why candy makers use wooden spoons and not metal ones.
