I found this video on Cooking Up a Story that makes creating your own jam and preserving it actually look doable. Canning is something I haven't tried yet, and I don't know when I'm going to get around to it. But with strawberries in season right now and other berries on their way, I thought sharing this video of someone who does know how to do it would be helpful.

I love Michelle Schocked! I have the Captain Swing album, tho haven't listened to in quite awhile. I think I'll put it on today.

I like that it's not as sweet as most store-boughts. Have you noticed many are beginning to leave out HFCS? They still use corn syrup, but it isn't as sticky-sweet as the ones with HFCS, imo.
