In Germany, Oktoberfest is over by mid-October, but here in the United States, Oktoberfest celebrations run throughout the month. If you’re going to be celebrating Oktoberfest, why not use a little of the beer in your cooking to create a delicious feast?
• Cod Baked in Cider
– Cider is another one drink used to celebrate Oktoberfest. A good, dry hard cider is just what cod needs to turn out flavorful and flakey.
The last recipe doesn’t come from the Microbrew Lover’s Cookbook. It’s a favorite recipe that I make many times over the cooler months.
