Welcome to the Thursday food "nooooo." That's "nooooo" as in "no way", "no they didn't", or "no one in their right mind would buy that."

Ballpark food is not known for its healthy ingredients yet every once in a while, a yummy ball park hot dog is a nice treat. But this goes beyond the normal ballpark fair and ventures into the “nooooo” territory. It’s the 4,800 calorie burger at the West Michigan Whitecaps’ Fifth Third field.

This four-pound burger sells for $20. Five slices of cheese, a cup of chili, cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream, corn chips, lettuce and tomato (did I miss anything?) are piled onto five 1/3 burger pound patties and sandwiched between an 8-inch sesame seed bun.

Anyone who can eat the whole thing will get a free t-shirt (and hopefully a free artery scraping).

Don’t believe me? See for yourself.
