It’s Friday afternoon, and that means it’s time for me to give you a little weekend reading from around the web. Here are a few food related items that I thought might interest you. Nothing too heavy this weekend - it's a holiday!

The New York Times asks students what their favorite summer food is? No surprise – the majority of the students in the comment section said “ice cream.” (By the way, my favorite summer food is corn-on-the-cob – from New Jersey, of course.

While you’re outside this weekend enjoying your BBQ’s and pool openings, don’t forget the sunscreen. The Environmental Working Group has released its 2010 Sunscreen Guide. They checked out 498 beach & sport sunscreens and recommend the best ones.
