Czernina

Czernina, or duck blood soup, is also made from rabbit, pig or hen blood. It is a sweet and sour soup popular in Poland and Lithuania. It was also an iconic dish in Poland until the 19th century. According to "Polish Heritage Cookery," it was "served to an unsuccessful suitor to let him know his advances were not welcome."
