I miss living in Brazil and having access to such wonderful fruit like the Jabuticaba. I live in Arizona now and am lucky that they can grow citrus here.

So strange to hear these fruits being called exotic when these are as common as, well, apples here.
Many of the fruits common here will seem pretty bizzare there, I am sure.

Malaysia is definitely the best place for tropical fruits. Its fruits contain a variety, from sweet, to sour, to bitter. It's awesome to be Malaysian! M'sia Boleh!

It's a coco fruit of the coco tree from the coco palm family..
The coconut nut is a giant nut If you eat too much, you'll get very fat Now, the coconut nut is a big, big nut But it's delicious nut is not a nut.

The coconut bark for the kitchen floor
If you save some of it, you can build the door
Now, the coconut trunk, do not throw this junk
If you save some of it, you'll have the second floor.

LOLzzzz

As someone who teaches economic botany and traveled in the tropics a great deal, there were still 3 of these that were new to me, but all the rest I've sampled.

Think exotic

A stroll through the produce aisle in a modern supermarket may give the impression that you've got a wide variety of choice in the fruit that you eat, but in reality that's only a small sampling of Mother Nature's true bounty. The world is full of bizarre and exotic treats you've probably never heard of before. Live a little, travel, and try something different. Apples and oranges will look pretty ordinary after you take a look at these wild and delicious fruits. (Text: Bryan Nelson)
