The best corn on the cob is made in the microwave. Just put 3 unshucked ears in a microwave for 10 minutes on high, remove cut ends off and shuck (silts remove very easily) butter and salt to taste. Take care when removing from microwave as they are very hot.

Those recipes sound fantastic! This morning I made blueberry corn energy bread in my solar oven. I never really measure out all the ingredients, but here's a brief recipe sum:
3 C wheat flour
1/2 c. corn meal
1/3 c. wheat germ
some flax seed
2T Blueberry preserves
dash of salt
1 tsp. yeast
1 c warm water
a handful of blueberries
a handful of cooked corn kernals
some turbinado sugar
splash of maple syrup
cinnamon
stick in the solar oven and voila! ENERGY BREAD WITH SOME CORN lovin.... More

Don't forget to compost

Keep a large bucket handy. Shucking corn produces a hefty pile of discarded husks and corn silk.
