A commercial titled "Halloween Treats Gone Wrong" has gone viral with more than 2 million views on YouTube.
The ad for Crest and Oral-B features child volunteers who tasted "healthy candy" in a focus-group setting.
The candy contained vegetables and was made with little or no sugar. It was designed to look appealing, but taste nothing like candy.
“The children’s reactions were absolutely natural and unscripted,” Dhingra told Today.com. “We did not give the children any food items to sample with the intention of making them ill or causing any other adverse reactions. … Participation was voluntary and all of the children were free to leave at any point if they wanted.”
