Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, stars of Planet Green's hit reality series, "The Fabulous Beekman Boys," are expanding the Beekman 1802 brand with the introduction of a new cookbook.
Officially called "The Beekman 1802 Heirloom Cookbook: Heirloom Fruits and Vegetables, and More than 100 Heritage Recipes to Inspire Every Generation," the 192-page hardcover tome is packed with gorgeous photos and delicious recipes from the Beekman farm.
"Like all of the products inspired by our life on the farm, the 'Beekman 1802 Heirloom Cookbook' was designed to be worthy of passing along to the next generation," writes the duo on their site. "As you adapt each of the recipes in the book for the particular tastes of your own family, you’ll be able visit us at beekman1802.com, find the entry for the particular recipe and tell us what you did to make it your own. This way, each recipe in the book becomes a thousand different recipes."
According to the pre-order page, fans can expect guidance in making such dishes as Springtime Pea Pod Risotto, Summery Strawberry Shortcake, Quick Braised Collards in autumn, and Yummy Chicken 'n' Dumplings for snowy winters.
The cookbook will be released on Oct. 4 and is available here for pre-order.
