Have you ever been making a dish for Thanksgiving, only to have panic hit when you realize you made a mistake and you don’t know how to fix it? Well, the splendid host of "The Splendid Table," Lynne Rossetto Kasper, will be standing by — just a call away — this Thanksgiving along with other food experts. One of her guests is Ina Gartan, one of my all-time favorite Food Network stars. Also joining her are well-known chefs and authors, giving the show its fair share of talent and knowledge.

Besides answering calls, Lynne’s shows are always worth listening to for the stories, tips and recipes. She has a truly amazing amount of knowledge, but is also brimming with fun. I will be listening just for the joy of it, but I'm sure I'll learn a lot at the same time.

The Splendid Table website, by the way, has a plethora of recipes for Thanksgiving that are a lot of fun to browse for last-minute inspiration.
