I am privileged to know and once in a while work in the same space with some extremely talented Philadelphia food writers and bloggers. Two of those bloggers recently worked on a project that is so mouth-wateringly beautiful, I just have to share it with you.

I introduced you to Marisa McClellan, the voice behind Food in Jars, when her canning cookbook was published last spring.  I’ve mentioned Madame Fromage several times when I’ve written about cheese. I’m a big fan of both of their writing, and follow their blogs regularly.

Marisa and Madame teamed up last week with Jason Varney, professional photographer and blogger at blog Fussing with Forks (amazing photography of the Philadelphia food scene) for In Deep Autumn, a photo spread of cheese from Philadelphia’s Di Bruno Bros., some food out of Marisa’s jars, and a few spirits to round things out.
