Over on Google+, the G+ Food Bloggers Community has been hosting the Super Bowl Plus Week of Champions. It’s an entire week of chefs and home cooks demonstrating how to create Super Bowl party foods done through Google+ Hangouts.

The ultimate Super Bowl party food seems to be Buffalo Chicken Wings. My friend Chef Dennis Littley shared his Buffalo Chicken Wing recipe last year on his A Culinary Journey with Chef Dennis blog, and it was wildly popular. So it only made sense for Chef Dennis to recreate the wings when it was his turn to step in front of the camera for Super Bowl Plus Week of Champions.

Chef Dennis takes us step by step through the process, making the blue cheese dressing, creating the buffalo sauce, dredging and cooking the wings, and finishing the wings all the way through.

Get the best ingredients you can for these wings — chicken wings from a local, free-range farm if possible, organic butter, local honey, and organic ingredients or ingredients from trusted local sources for the blue cheese dressing.

I really like Chef Dennis’ method of putting half the blue cheese crumbles in the food processor with the other ingredients to get the blue cheese flavor all the way through the dressing. I’m definitely going to incorporate that step when I made my recipe for Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing and Dip.
