Are you celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in any way today? I did a bit of celebrating at a local Irish pub over the weekend. Today's celebrations will be limited to an Irish-themed dinner tonight.
I often make slow cooker corned beef and cabbage for this holiday. Over the weekend, my favorite Irish cook Donal Skehan posted a video recipe of his family’s traditional Irish stew on his Jamie Oliver Food Tube page, and this year I’m going with stew.
The printed recipe for this lamb stew is on Donal’s Homecooked Kitchen blog. Serve the stew with Irish Soda Bread.
