Jicama Spears With Chili and Lime

A refreshing, crunchy snack with just the right amount of heat to get your taste buds humming.
Jicama Spears With Chili and Lime

Ingredients

  • 1 small jicama, julienned
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 lime, sliced into wedges (garnish)

Prep time: 15 minutes 

Total time: 30 minutes 

Directions

  1. Using sharp chef’s knife, peel and slice jicama. Place in mixing bowl and drizzle with lime juice. Refrigerate about 15 minutes.
  2. Combine chili, cayenne and salt in another mixing bowl. Plate jicama, dust with spices and garnish with lime wedges.

Serves 4 to 6
