White Corn Tortilla Chips
8 corn tortillas, day old
1 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
On cutting board place tortillas into stacks of four, using a sharp knife halve each stack. Cut each halved section into even-sized thirds.
Spray two baking sheets with canola oil. Evenly distribute chips on baking sheet. Season chips with salt. Spray chips with canola oil. Place baking sheets in top racks of oven. After about 8 minutes flip chips with spatula. Rotate sheets to ensure even cooking. Remove from oven when edges turn golden brown, air cool for about 20 minutes. Other seasoning options could be cayenne, paprika, dry ranch dressing or a Cajun spice blend.
