Mango Fruit Pop

A mango's texture and natural sweetness lends itself well to helados, the Mexican version of fruit pops.

Prep time: 2 minutes

Total time: 4 hours to allow for freezing

Yield: 6 to 8 pops

Mango Fruit Pop

  • 2 cups mango pieces, frozen
  • 1 cup Santa Cruz mango lemonade
  1. Combine frozen mango and lemonade in a blender, process until smooth, about two minutes.
  2. Pour contents of blender into pop molds. Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and place in freezer. When the pops are slushy, slash small holes in covering and insert sticks. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
  3. Remove from freezer. Run molds under warm water for a few seconds. Thaw 2 to 3 minutes. Gently tug on sticks to release pops from mold and serve.
