Yogurt Strawberry Fruit Pop

Strawberries picked at the height of the season are plentiful and cheap, making it an ideal fruit for these tangy fruit-based treats.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: Up to 24 hours to freeze

Yield: 7 4 oz. pops

Yogurt Strawberry Fruit Pop

  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 3/4 cup reduced fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tbs. confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, or Amaretto
  1. Set freezer to high.
  2. Combine ingredients in a blender and process until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour contents of blender into popsicle molds. Cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and place molds in freezer. When the pops are slushy, slash small holes in covering and insert sticks. Freeze until firm, up to 24 hours.
  4. Remove pops from freezer. Run molds under warm water for a few seconds. Thaw 2 to 3 minutes. Gently tug on sticks to release pops from mold and serve.
