Often there's no milk in the the house and as for butter a lot of the
time I can live without it, which makes dairy free baking an easy option.

it takes a bit of getting used to but once you begin to cook this way, it becomes second nature.

Nowdays, you need a special menu for every guest...i'm fine with that on legitimate ailments but it gets tiring to cook based on preference.

Thanks for these ideas. One of my daughters has gone vegan again and I find baking a chore when she comes home for a visit.
