Brussels Sprouts Kabobs

2 tablespoonsolive oil
1 clovegarlic, minced
1 teaspoonkosher salt
Pinchground black pepper
1 poundBrussels sprouts
Combine olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt and black pepper in bowl. Set aside.
Rinse and remove woody stems from sprouts. Place in ceramic bowl and cover with water. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Allow sprouts to cool until water is lukewarm.
Thread sprouts on skewers with stem ends facing in same direction. Use even-sized sprouts to ensure consistent cook times. Brush with olive oil and garlic mixture. Cook sprouts on grill 5 minutes on each side, or until lightly charred.
