Chocolate-Dipped Ginger

Combine two great flavors, dark chocolate and crystallized ginger, to make a tasty treat.

Prep time: 10 minutes  

Total time: 40 minutes, including refrigeration  

Yield: 40 pieces

 
Chocolate-Dipped Ginger

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. bittersweet chocolate baking nibs
  • 6 oz. crystallized ginger pieces
Directions
  1. Add 3 oz. nibs to double boiler over medium heat. Melt, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Add remaining chocolate. Stir until chocolate is melted. Dip ginger pieces into chocolate.
  2. Place ginger on baking sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
