Asian Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter or butter substitute
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 4 cups water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 9 ounces Asian noodles or linguine
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
Time estimates
Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 20 minutes
Directions

In a medium size pot on medium-low heat saute the garlic and ginger in the butter and sesame oil for two minutes.

Add the broth, water and soy sauce and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and let boil until the noodles are al dente. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the green onions. Serve immediately.
Serves 4

All the six soup recipes look yummy & easy to prepare. If the title of the article is changed to 'Six vegetarian winter soups' , it would attract many vegetarians.
Changing the name to include "vegetarian" would scare away most meat-eaters.
