Asian Noodle Soup


  • 2 tablespoons butter or butter substitute
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 9 ounces Asian noodles or linguine
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions

Total time: 20 minutes 



  1. In a medium size pot on medium-low heat saute the garlic and ginger in the butter and sesame oil for two minutes.
  2. Add the broth, water and soy sauce and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and let boil until the noodles are al dente. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the green onions. Serve immediately.
