Charlize Theron's steamy woman-on-woman kiss for African charity

Last week Matt Damon's charity ONEXONE hosted a fundraiser in San Francisco which drew many A-listers including Charlize Theron, Jeremy Piven, David Arquette, Mia Hamm and Josh Groban.

The goal of ONEXONE is to do whatever it takes to help the children in drought-stricken regions in African and the U.S., and Charlize certainly stepped up to the plate by offering a kiss to the highest bidder, which turned out to be a woman (it's San Francisco, remember)? Here is the kiss caught by TMZ:

Many of the celebrities in attendance have their own nonprofit foundations including the Josh Groban Foundation and Charlize Theron's African Outreach Project, both of which seek to raise much-needed awareness and funds to supply children with food, water and education supplies in Africa and other areas stricken by drought and poverty.

With these organizations and the work of ONEXONE, it seems clear that the charitable arm of Hollywood has woken up to a great need in the world and matured into a full-fledged philanthropic engine which successfully leverages star power to make a tangible difference in the world.

Charlize explains her reason for getting involved this way:
Somehow I've been blessed and millions of people are not. So I guess that's motivation enough, just as a human being.
