Industry buzz surrounding Apple's new iPhone model, set to be unveiled later this month, strongly suggests the new design will feature a fingerprint scanner. The rumors have steadily picked up steam ever since Apple spent $350 million to purchase AuthenTec Inc., a company that specializes in making fingerprint scanners.
