Eco-activism in Bolivia
Indigenous citizens of Bolivia march through Moxos, Bolivia on Aug. 21 in protest against plans for the construction of a road that would pass through the middle of a Bolivian national park that some indigenous tribes call home.
In line with the deteriorating relations between Bolivia and the U.S., the Bolivian government has accused the U.S. of inciting and helping organize the indigenous protests against the proposed project.
