A polar bear fishes for pieces of tomatoes in the cool water of its zoo enclosure in Jinan in China's Shandong province on Aug. 10.

 

A variety of measures were taken to help polar animals cool off on a hot and humid day, including serving "ice bombs" or blocks of ice that contain fruits and vegetables within.
