Breeding new hope

It's a sound that we thought we'd never hear ... a singing dog. Not because dogs don't sing — these ones do — but because the ultra-rare New Guinea singing dog is now believed to be extinct in the wild. Good news: four little bundles of fur — Kerema, Hagen, Sepik and Bismark — have been born to proud mum Belle and her mate, Kota, at the Rare Species Conservation Center near Sandwich, Kent.
