Fire hits Manila slum
Filipino families wait in front of their destroyed houses after a fire razed the slum area of Baseco in Manila on Jan. 17. Fire officials confirmed that one child was killed, three people were injured and at least 4,000 people were left homeless in the wake of the blaze.
