Young girls from the Russian International Theatre School wave flags in front of a statue of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space.
The statue was revealed on July 14 in London to mark the 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight. Following the space flight, he subsequently went on a world tour, which included the U.K. Exactly 50 years ago on July 14, Gagarin met the queen as part of his visit to Great Britain in 1961.
