One fish, two fish, red fish, a lot of fish
Local fishermen count and classify sea products on Taishan Island of Fuding City in southeast China's Fujian Province. Taishan Island is located in the boundary sea area between Fujian and Zhejiang provinces. Taishan is the only village on the island and is home to 400 residents.
Summer is the busiest season here, and local residents and fishermen set up restaurants and inns to host tourists and fishing fans, who swarm to the island during summer holidays. With passion and industry, the islanders have found more opportunities to get rich at home despite the deficiency in natural resources.
