To the baths

Elephants are being taken for a bath in Guwahati, India. The region has the largest concentration of Asiatic elephants in the country, with a recent survey putting the number at 3,000 in the state of Assam alone. But with the destruction of grasslands, forest cover and bodies of clean water, the species is now fighting for its survival.
